It is 
with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our former Clerk of Court of twenty-four years, Vernon H. Rodrigue. Mr. Rodrigue passed away on May 27, 2017.
Mr. Rodrigue worked at the Clerk of Court’s office for over fifty-five years. His knowledge and love for the clerk’s office showed every day. He served the community of Lafourche parish for nearly five decades. He was a colleague, mentor, and above all a friend. His easy-going personality was contagious and he would always greet everyone with a smile and a joke or two.
Our condolences to his family, you all are in our thoughts and prayers. His presence will always be felt here in our office. May God bless him, and may he rest in eternal peace.
