The Secretary of State and the Governor has suspended R.S. 18:1286 to allow the Parish Board of Elections Supervisors to draw commissioners for the March 20, 2021 Special Election, this Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. The meeting will take place at the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, 303 West Third St., Thibodaux, LA 70301, in the First Floor Conference Meeting Room. They have also suspended R.S. 18:434 (A)(2) for publication of the notice of the meeting due to this emergency.
