Kim Douglas celebrates 15 years with the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court

Kim Douglas began working with the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in September of 1998 as a part-time employee while she completed her bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University.  Kim has been a full-time employee with the Clerk’s office since April 1, 2003. As a Deputy Clerk in the Conveyance and Mortgage Department, she is responsible for researching and preparing Mortgage Certificates, Property Bonds, and Clear Lien Certificates. She also prices and inputs Uniform Commercial Code forms, reviews mortgage re-inscriptions and cancellations, and post marginal notations on mortgage records.

Kim enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling to watch her son play baseball. She currently resides in Raceland, LA with her husband, Brent, and their 2 children, Carter (10 years old) and Wes (1 ½ years old).
