Roxanna Toups celebrates 40 years with the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court

Roxanna “Rocky” Toups began working with the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in September of 1980 as a part-time employee in the Conveyance Department.  When she became a full time employee on May 1, 1981, she was responsible for microfilming.   She then became a Minute Clerk, were she served for both Judge Knobloch and Judge Barbera.  Presently she is a Deputy Clerk in the Civil Department where she is responsible for filing and issuing Civil, Probate and Adoption matters.   

Rocky enjoys camping and traveling and hopes to travel to Wyoming and Colorado after her retirement later this year.  She loves horses and her two Boston Terriers, Willow and Rudy.  She resides in Chackbay with her husband, Warren “Tennessee” Toups and has two children, John and Shelby.
